One of the most charming of the Powell and Pressburger movies, the film concerns a headstrong woman who intends to marry a British MP, but whose world is turned upside down when she meets an unassuming, kind and charming Scottish Laird. The black and white photography of the Scottish lands and sea is impressive and the performances are wonderful. Criterion has a beautiful DVD of this and we would recommend it heartily. U.S. posters for the title are indeed remarkably scarce. This is a folded one sheet. We have graded condition as fine plus. There are minor fold issues; we would recommend linen-backing for this poster.
